The Technicians of Cascade Hospital for Animals

Our Exam Room Technicians will greet you in the lobby and take you into the exam room to talk with you about your pet's history and any current problems they may be having.  They will then assist the veterinarian when they examine your pet and aid in delivering the appropriate care.

Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians are compassionate and dedicated to the health of your animals. To become licensed a technician must earn a 2 to 4 years degree, and then pass state boards.  They serve as in integral member of our health care team and are educated in the care and handling of animals, the basic principles of normal and abnormal life processes, and in routine laboratory and hospital procedures.  Our Licensed veterinary Technicians work under the supervision of our veterinarians are are able to perform a wide variety of procedures, however they are not able to diagnose, perform surgery or prescribe medications.
