More about Dr. Isard: 

Dr. Isard wanted to be a veterinarian since childhood, but took a few detours on the path there. Her passion is helping anxious or fearful patients and their guardians navigate veterinary care and home environments. She is very passionate about breed advocacy and educating guardians on humane training methods. Dr. Isard was inspired to pursue a position at our practice because she wanted to be a part of a compassionate, collaborative team dedicated to practicing gold standard medicine. In veterinary medicine, you are never done learning and she is excited to be surrounded by so much experience and knowledge! 

She is the fortunate guardian of two awesome creatures who both came to her when she was fostering for Michigan Humane. Bruce is her sweet and sensitive pit-mix who happens to love kittens. His love of cats and kittens led to her second foster fail, Margo, who is fearless and energetic cat found on the streets of Detroit. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting dog friendly patios Bruce, and exploring new hiking trails. She also enjoys fostering kittens for the local shelter, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
